The 4th annual Damsels in De-Stress Fundraiser held on February 21, at the Concorde Inn in Clinton Township was a terrific success. The fundraiser offers women a much needed girls' night out during the long winter season, and helps support our Community Outreach Programs. The Outreach Programs include an anger management program for adolescents, homemaking and transportation services for senior citizens, and advocacy for nursing home seniors who have no family interaction. Attendees received complimentary tote bags, passport wallet, wine and food tasting, and valet parking. Women could shop for a variety of items, such as jewelry, artwork, purses, body lotions, or gourmet foods. Spa services, such as body massages, hand massages, or paraffin hand dips were offered free of charge or for a minimal amount. A cruise for 2 to the Caribbean was the top prize raffled off at the end of the evening.
