POSITION TITLE:Therapist
Macomb Family Services, Inc. is seeking the best and brightest individuals to work as full/part time Contractual Therapists at our out-patient facilities located in Macomb County Michigan.
We are a well established agency which provides therapeutic counseling to clients of Macomb County and surrounding areas. As one of the largest providers in Macomb County and we are looking for highly motivated therapists that work well in a team environment.
Candidates should have experience working in an out-patient setting and be able to document experience working with any of the following areas: individual and family mental health, substance abuse issues, and children ages 3-12. (applicants must be FULLY licensed)
SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT MUST HAVE:
Masters Degree in Social Work and Licensure to practice as a psychotherapist/social worker in the State of Michigan (applicants must be fully licensed)
Ability to meet time-frame expectations for documentation and service delivery.
Demonstrated follow-through skills, and the ability to provide consistent services to clients on a weekly basis with appropriate documentation which includes assessments, treatment planning, progress note etc.
Able to develop accurate assessment of the client’s needs and development of appropriate clinical goals.
Therapists typically see clients 4 days/week which includes morning or evening sessions. Therapists may schedule week-end appointments when it meets their needs.
Prepare and submit case reports and summaries to appropriate parties accurately and in a timely manner.
Must possess energy and optimism, excellent written and oral communication skills, efficient computer skills, and demonstrated ability to work with clients from diverse cultural, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
